Barrett Peels
Medical-grade peels are highly customizable treatments used to remove damaged, outermost skin layers to erase imperfections and reverse signs of aging. Although typically performed on the face, these peels can be extended to the chest, back, and hands as well.
What do
Facial Peels treat?
Fine facial lines and wrinkles
Acne scars and lesions
Hyperpigmentation
Uneven skin tone or texture
Before the peel
During your initial consultation, your esthetician will work to understand your skin conditions, goals, and any other information needed to create a unique, individualized treatment plan.
During the peel
After your skin is thoroughly cleansed, numbing cream will be applied if necessary. The peel solution is then applied to the skin and left for a specific amount of time. Finally, a neutralizing agent will be used and the peel is removed. For deep peels, post-care and skincare products are included in treatment to support and soothe the skin during the healing process.
After the peel
Recovery from a Barrett Peel depends on the type and depth of the treatment. After treatment, the redness and swelling are typical and can last up to one week. During this time, you will follow a specific skincare routine to promote healing and ensure the most optimal results.
